Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Do you strip old paint or powder?

No. We coat raw, unpainted metal only. Parts must arrive bare — free of paint, plating and heavy rust scale.

How durable is powder coating?

A cured powder finish is far tougher than wet paint: it resists chipping, UV fade, chemicals and corrosion, and stays serviceable outdoors for years.

Can you match a specific color?

Yes. Send a RAL number, a paint code or a sample part and we'll match it from thousands of available powders and finishes.

Do you work on site?

No field work. Everything is done in our Giddings facility so we can control blasting, application and cure conditions.

How should I prepare parts before dropping them off?

Remove bearings, seals, rubber, plastics and any hardware you want kept clean, and tell us which threads or machined surfaces to mask.

What does a quote need?

Part description or drawing, alloy, quantity, desired color and finish, plus any film build spec. Photos are usually enough.
